Terms of Service

The agreement for using Vetta. The short version: we help you decide what to do, and your vet remains the authority on your pet's care.

Last updated July 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of Vetta. We have kept them plain and short. The first section is the one that matters most, so please read it.

Vetta is not a diagnosis

This is the most important term, so it comes first. Vetta provides general guidance to help you decide how urgent a situation is and what to do next. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for professional veterinary care.

Only a licensed veterinarian can examine, diagnose, and treat your pet. If Vetta tells you to call or to go now, or if your own judgment says something is wrong, contact your vet or an emergency clinic. In a life-threatening emergency, do not wait on an app.

Who can use Vetta

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use Vetta. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity under your account.

Your content and records

You own the records and information you add to Vetta. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content only to provide the service to you, for example to generate guidance, reminders, and summaries.

You can export or delete your content at any time. When you delete your account, we remove your content from active systems, subject to the retention we are legally required to keep.

Acceptable use

To keep Vetta safe and useful for everyone, you agree not to:

  • Use Vetta for anything other than the health of pets you are responsible for.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
  • Present Vetta's guidance as a veterinary diagnosis to others.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share.

Plans and billing

Free is free, with one pet and no card required. Paid plans, Plus and Family, are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of your current period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires it.

Disclaimers and liability

Vetta is provided as is. We work hard to make our guidance careful and helpful, but we cannot guarantee outcomes, and we are not liable for decisions made based on the app. Your relationship with your veterinarian remains the authority on your pet's care.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Vetta evolves. If a change is material, we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vetta after a change means you accept the updated terms.
