Vetta
Our company

We help owners do the right thing at the right time.

Give every pet owner the calm and the context to do the right thing at the right time.

Why we built it

It started at 2am, on a bathroom floor.

Vetta started with a sick dog and a search bar at 2am. One of us sat on the bathroom floor reading forum threads that swung from it's nothing to call an ambulance, with no way to tell which was true and no record of the last time this happened.

The next morning, the vet asked three questions we could not answer, because the information lived at a clinic two cities away. Nothing was wrong that a calmer, better-informed night could not have handled.

So we built the thing we wished we had had. A companion that asks the right questions, holds the whole record, and tells you plainly what to do, without the panic and without pretending to be your vet.

One promise, in plain terms: Vetta guides, it does not replace your vet. When care is needed, our whole job is to get you there sooner and better informed.

What we value

Four commitments we do not bend on.

These shape every question Vetta asks and every answer it gives.

A vet is the destination

Vetta guides, it does not replace your veterinarian. When care is needed, our job is to get you there sooner and better informed.

Calm over alarm

Panic leads to bad decisions in both directions. We choose clear, plain language and a steady tone, even when the answer is go now.

Your records, yours

You own your pet's history. We keep it private, portable, and easy to take with you, on any plan.

Honest about limits

A good model knows what it does not know. When a symptom needs a professional, we say so plainly instead of guessing.

The team

Consumer health and machine learning, guided by vets.

A small team with a clear rule: when a symptom needs a professional, we say so.
